IOS 14 CarPlay Audio Issue (crackling sounds)

I am having the same issue. Been on the phone with tec support more than I care to....

For the last time, it has NOTHING to do with your iPhone or iOS, it is a car head unit issue and your car manufacturer needs to update the firmware of it NOT THE BLOODY PHONE.

Meant to say the hard reset only lasts for one trip!

Yes it is the phone!! I don’t do CarPlay but have crackling issues and shallow sound. My pixel 2 was way better and just handled at half the price!! Apple must SORT IT OUT!!!

Finally someone whose talking sense. Apple sort it out!

How is it not the phone when it worked for 4 years and now it does not?

the car may need an update but it’s because something apple changed!

Now 14.4 and still crackling. Sound on CarPlay is unusable.

I don’t have this audio quality setting on 14.6

So is this only for Apple Music? What about other apps?

I was thinking the same thing. No use if it only works for Apple Music and not for podcasts or other music apps.

It doesn’t work with Apple Music either. Crackle crackle crackle.

That sucks. Hopefully mine doesn’t start doing it again. So far so good
