I updated my phone to ios 14 yesterday but after that when im using CarPlay Audio usually 2-3 minutes into a song or by the second song, I start getting crackling sounds. please help

Took my Skoda Fabia into the dealership today for another issue and asked them to update the firmware of the head unit and it resolved the issue. Skoda know and there is a TPI out so it’s covered by warranty.
Anyone who tells you to change cables or changing anything on your phone is a moron. It has nothing to do with your phone but with your head unit.
head unit software version is now 8755. It works. Finally.
Meant to say the hard reset only lasts for one trip!
Yes it is the phone!! I don’t do CarPlay but have crackling issues and shallow sound. My pixel 2 was way better and just handled at half the price!! Apple must SORT IT OUT!!!

Now 14.4 and still crackling. Sound on CarPlay is unusable.
I don’t have this audio quality setting on 14.6
I was thinking the same thing. No use if it only works for Apple Music and not for podcasts or other music apps.

It doesn’t work with Apple Music either. Crackle crackle crackle.

My other iPhone 8, still on 14.7, still has the issue.
I could test this on my old JBL CP100, same USB cable, just switching the iPhones.

My 2019 vehicle is from an almost unknown German startup (e-go-mobile.com). Head unit and Audio are separated, so that I am only dealing with a JBL 2DIN Device.
