I just updated my iPhone 11 Pro to the IOS 14 and one feature I was looking forward to was the NFC reader but when I go to settings-control center- and scroll to enable it it doesn’t show the NFC reader. I have friends with iPhone 6 and iPhone 8 and they both have the NFC reader in the control center so how come it’s working for older iPhones but not my new one?

NFC is Supported automatically on iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Supported after turning on NFC scan mode from Control Center on iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X.
There is no option there for adding NFC tag reader

Just updated to 14.2 iPhone 11 Pro. NFC Tag missed in control panel. Anyone know why?

There is no switch to turn on NFC on iPhone 11. It works automatically when you hold your iphone near the nfc chip.
Go to settings > control center > add anything you want in it

I have an XR and the NFC is not working. I have updated my phone and all. The back of my phone is cracked could that be the culprit.
Exact same problem here on my iphone 11. There is no NFC function to select!
