Mail Drop not working on IOS- iPhone

I am unable to use mail drop to send large files from my iPhone. I have tried sending the files from my phone which is on ios14 and my wife's which is still on the last version of ios13. The specific files are videos. When we try to send them, they will be placed in the mail message and appear to send, but they hang in the outbox. When you send them from the outbox they disappear, but are not sent.

The same attachments send from my Mac with mail drop just fine.
