In iOS 13, you could select a message in the mail app or the messages app and then drag your finger up or down to quickly select multiple messages. That feature seems to be missing in iOS 14. I’m hoping this was an over site. I found it quite useful.

If you do a quick drag over the checkmarks it works. If you drag over the message content it scrolls instead.
I’ve tried that on my devices and it definitely doesn’t work. It actually just scrolls the message content. iPadOS 14 on first gen iPad Pro and iOS 14 on iPhone XS
It’s working for me on an iPhone XS with iOS 14.0 (18A373).

Could you describe exactly the steps you are taking, please?
I just tried it at the top level of messages and it worked. But if you actually go into an individual conversation then it does not. It used to work.
