iOS 14 text notification issues

its a new feature added into 14.2

all

contacts are now labelled silent

the feature needs to be turned off manually per contact

I'm not seeing how each contact is silenced. How do I turn it back on manually?

When the person texts you , look under the text information

there’s a new tab that will say “ silent”

uncheck it

then that contact will notify correctly

I am having the same issue With not receiving a notification when I get a text message no sound no vibrate no nothing do not like it at all

I have done every single suggestion on here. I get message notifications only if I turn Bluetooth off. This is insane.

Settings>Notifications>Messages> choose options

Please fix this Apple. I have an XS Max and am not getting any text notifications except for the badge on my home screen. Extremely frustrating.

very frustrating, still not working for apps. SMS and iMessage are fine, but half my apps don’t get notifications. This has been a known issue for months. Fix it, Apple.

I bought the IPhone Xr and I already had this bug on my iPhone 8. I receive sms hours after we send it to me. And IOS 14.3 don’t change anything

I tried it on my iphone 10. Didn’t work.

I just updated to 14.3, which is a "bug fix." Everything seems to be working now and I'm getting notifications again.

I have 14.3 - made no difference.

If you go to accessibility then Face ID & attention there is a toggle called attention awareness turn it off. I get the texts while I’m on my phone but sometimes not when connected to Bluetooth
