"Chin" bar under display cracked.

Hello. I recently got my Macbook Air about 3 months ago. I've had a Macbook Pro prior to this. I've never had a problem. It was really heavy duty and survived for 4 years. I got the new Macbook so I can connect my iPad and do a double screen. However, I just found a crack on the chin bar. Should I get it fixed? Would it be expensive? I've visited different forums but they all say different things.

As I suggested earlier, take it in for service while it's still under warranty. You are well beyond the replacement option but it should be repaired under the warranty provided it is a manufacturing defect. If the problem is under user neglect, then that is not covered by the warranty (unless, possibly, you have AppleCare+.)

Do you mean the Touch Bar?

You have a warranty, so get it fixed. Make an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar for service after the stores re-open. If you need to find an Apple Store - Find a Store - Apple. Also, see How to find your nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) or Distributor (AAD). You may also get Apple authorized service at a local Best Buy or contact Apple Support for more options.
