iOS 14 widget failure and reduced app icon size

Gripe/question; why must apple reduce the size of the icons on the home screen? The size was just fine, it leaves a large empty space at the bottom of the screen between the 6th row of apps and the dock at the bottom. Secondly, Why are the widgets becoming pixelated and unresponsive? I can only assume that its a bug in need of fixing, but I am afraid to say that these and some other issue among these forms show that apple has released a diabolical update.

I will be doing everything I can to downgrade.

Now this is probably just a bug because this is IOS 14.0 the first version of the new OS so it will be fixed probably in the next update, now I don't see any way to downgrade your IOS but hopefully apple fixes it in the next update hope this helps.

The reduced widget size also makes iPhones less accessible to vision impaired people such as myself. We rely on the zoomed function to be able to see our screens properly and Apple doesn’t seem to have considered how their update affects this.
