I have an iPhone 8 and love the touch ID for all of my apps. How will my new iPhone Xs Max work with my apps if it doesn't have touch ID? Will I have to set up my apps again using the face recognition or something?
I'm actually thinking of returning this new phone if that's the case.

I never, ever buy the latest iPhone and always buy from the Apple refurbished store. Your comment was not helpful at all KiltedTim.
He was pointing out that your “new” Xs Max is not going to be very “new”. It may be new to you.
I did not post a question about how "new" my particular model of iPhone was. But for whatever reason (likely hubris) you chose to point that out.
