Widgetsmith app not working

The post makes no sense. Unless it meant the public BETA update. To check for that go to Settings/General and scroll to the bottom. Look just below VPN. If you have an entry for Profiles tap on it, then tap on the beta profile and delete it. Then restore your phone with iTunes—>Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support and restore your backup.

If there is no Profiles entry you don’t have any beta versions.

Why don’t you help yourself and just read the other messages in the thread you posted to?

Many widgets are facing issue like this. For me weather widget is not updating at all. Check troubleshooting for WidgetSmith if it helps.

Do you have the most recent update? It was released, I believe, today.

no, unfortunately i don’t think it’s compatible with iphone 8plus, cause i tried with multiple apps and it didn’t work.

When I do the the edit part dont come up

it won’t let me open the app

Same! All my friends have cool widgets but i can’t because it won’t open 😔

I had the same problem! But I figured out a way. All you need to do is leave it grey, then shut down your phone. Once you turn it on again, it should work!
