How can I be sure my Photos are backed up on Time Machine before I delete any to clean space ? My Time Machine is not able to open my Photos without this message that pops up ''These items cannot be added to your Photo Library because of the file format is not supported by Photo'' If I press OK at the bottom of this message then it opens the Photos folder.

TimeMachine backup Hi, I've backed my computer and external hard drive (where my Photos Library resides) to a new TimeMachine drive, but when I try to open my Photos from the TimeMachine directly I get this message: The library opens fine on its original hard drive. Is this normal? I just want to make sure I have enough backups of my very precious photos. Thank you!

A Photos library can't be stored and operated on a TM drive nor can a backed up library by Time Machine be opened from the TM drive. It must be restored to the boot drive or another volume and then opened.
