iOS 14.0 issue can’t copy paste phone numbers

hi I downloaded iOS 14.0 to my iphone Since this download , copy paste isn’t working on the phone app or message app . I need to be able to copy and paste phone numbers because if it’s a strange number I like to copy and paste to google so I can check out the number before calling it back or blocking it .

this issue is very inconvenient. Please can anyone advise me how to get it working again ?

I stumbled upon a bypass to paste a number for now until apple fixes the issue in there update.

to paste a copied number

press any digit on the keypad and then hit backspace, this will allow you to paste the copied number.
