iPhone 11 ringer persistently muted by car audio system

My iPhone 11 ringer is continually switched off after having been connected to my car audio system. I have a Toyota Corolla. I have disabled the Attention Aware control and set the sounds and haptics dial. I have also disabled the Change With Buttons, but to no avail.

I would appreciate Apple’s attention to fixing this bug.
