iPhone 12 Sound Settings
new iPhone 12 Pro. As soon as i touch a button my ringer goes silent. How do I fix it

That would be correct behavior. When you tap the volume button it would silence the ringer. Unless you are referring to some other sound. Also, if you look at the phone, the ringer volume will automatically reduce since the camera recognizes that you are paying attention to the device. There is a way to turn that off, but the ringer stopping when you touch the volume control is normal behavior.
