Follow these steps:

  • Remove any debris from the charging port on the bottom of your device.
  • Restart your device: iPhone. iPod touch.
  • Try a different USB cable or charger.
  • Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS.
  • Contact Apple Support to set up service.

Getting a New Device:

If you have tried all the steps, and it still will not charge then it’s time for a new battery, or maybe even a new phone. Your iPhone is obsolete, and is prone to failures and malware installs, being updates are no longer supported.

Purchasing Directly from Apple:

It’d be more trustworthy, IMO, getting a phone directly from the manufacturer: Apple. Elsewise, you might end up getting scammed (something very often reported on these forums)
