airpods automatic switching doesn't work from Mac to iphone

Hi,

I've tried the new automatic switching feature for Airpods Pro, and it doesn't work from Mac to iPhone, even though it does work from iPhone to Mac. The iPhone simply just plays the audio through its speakers. When I start music, a video on Mac, it switched to the Mac from iPhone in an instant.

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 14.0

MacBook Pro, MacOS Catalina 10.15.6

Airpods Pro, 3A283

Both Mac and iPhone is connected to the same iCloud account and have no net connection issues whatsoever.

Any ideas what might be the problem?
