Palm rejection fail on MacBook Pro

I am constantly experiencing failure of palm rejection on the MBP. I'll be typing and suddenly find that cursor has moved to a different line of the text, producing gibberish. I can't describe how much I hate this enormous trackpad. Any suggestions on how to improve results?

Sometimes Apple places too much faith in technology and does not yield to common sense.

Thanks for visiting the Apple User-to-User Support Communities. Other users like you can provide each other bluntly accurate recommendations without it being an "official" response from Apple Inc.

You need to place your MacBook on a different height surface, perhaps lower, so that when typing, your wrists are straight (so-called "neutral" position).

Holding them otherwise will rapidly produce a repetitive strain injury, and the size and sensitivity of the trackpad will be the LAST thing on your mind.

Once you stop bending your wrists so much, the trackpad problem will evaporate.
