Since i've updated my apple tv to latest version i started having an issue with (Youtube).
When i start watching any vedio on youtube and need to press (pause) button, Youtube is freezing for awhile then it goes back to apple tv main menu ???
I've cleared cookies and watch history, But issue not solved.
I need your usual support and advise please. Thanks.
I have updated too but haven't had this problem.
Have you taken it out of the recent apps?
Go to the main menu, press the button that looks like a TV on the remote, then swipe up on YouTube.
Failing this, try reinstalling the app

Have you updated the device to TVOS14? I am unfamiliar with the 3rd generation as I do not own it but a google search bought up this:

Here’s a list of all the Apple TV models that are capable of running tvOS 14 officially when it comes out, as confirmed by Apple on their website. Although there aren’t many models to cover, if your Apple TV is several years old, there’s a fair chance that it will not support the upcoming version of tvOS.

If your device doesn't support TVOS 14, it could be YouTube has dropped support for it too. To check this information as I'm not 100% sure, please contact YouTube and they'll be able to confirm.

Thank you for your answer.
I tried to do as your advise but notice that i can't delete app's, Only i have three options there (Ask / Hide / Show).
So i hide it from recent app's and then show it again But unfortunately problem not fixed.
FYKI, my apple tv is 3rd generation.
Apple Tv software is : 7.6 (8130)
and YouTube app is working properly, the issue only while I pause video then it freezing.
Anyway your answers and concern are highly appreciated. I will try to contact YouTube and see what is wrong with it.
