I had previously logged into the App Store with my mother’s information and now have my own. Unfortunately, I can no longer update apps since my App Store still requires me to somehow log into my mothers account and I no longer have the information. How can I have her account permanently removed from my phone? I don’t think I have anything on my phone that is connected to hers anymore.
All the apps that were downloaded when you used her apple ID is connected to her apple ID.
To solve this. you can either reset the phone completely to factory settings.
Or you can delete each app that is affected and reinstall it with your own apple ID.
