Apple Watch Home App - No response for lights only in watch home app
Hi,
I have had an odd issue since updating my Series 5 to WatchOS 7 in that my Hue lights have this 'No Response' issue with them. This is restricted only to the watch as the Home App on both my MacBook Pro and my iPhone XR function correctly every time including using Siri.
The issue presents in the following manner:
- Ask Siri or manually use watch to turn on a light through the Home App.
- Result is Light(s) do not come on, Siri reports the device didn't not respond, Home App shows 'No Response' on the lights
- Can be momentarily fixed by restarting the watch but issue will resurface as outlined through above
- Oddly the lights will then appear as available in the watch Home App, no 'No Response' message, but the lights still do not work.
I've removed the hub and lights from the home app, and re-added them, checked for available software updates on the Phillips side as well. restarted the watch, phone, router, hubs, Apple TV
Tried toggling the home iCloud button also but I have had no success eliminating this issue.
Feels like a watchOS issue with it working as expected on the iPhone (iOS 14) and MacBook Pro (10.15.6).
Apple TV is TVOS 14 also.
Has anyone experienced any similar issues? Any resolution?
