Delayed notifications

Great theory, but my phone is like this on both wifi and data… sooooo

Hard for me to accept. Expecting apple to take away one thing to get another to work seems non productive. Should be a better fix without affecting battery life.

When the iPhone is blocked after a few minutes, it begins to use the mobile data and not the Wi-Fi for notifications (I investigated it in many web sites).

I have WiFi on by itself and I still receive notifications late

My 10/iPad wifi only. 12 is cell/wifi. No immediate notifications

I fixed mine by resetting the notification settings in Whatsapp app. But sometimes there is still a delay, but it only happen maybe once in a week. Much better compared to missing every notification.

Facing same issue and it is irritating 😠

It's been 4 hours now and the issue has been resolved! (for me at least). I reenabled the notifications for Gmail and still good on that end too. So, I guess the problem app was Outlook.

Do you have Gmail? If so, disable the Gmail app notifications and see if this fixes it.

I do, and that would be kinda counter productive since gmail notifications are also important. It’s not really a fix since that means there’s a bug 😅
