changing App store purchase Apple ID in iOS 14 without signing out of iCloud

I have a main Apple ID that I use to sign into iCloud. I also have another Apple ID set up just for the App Store/iTunes. Both Apple IDs are associated with different countries and have their own payment method. I have bought country-specific apps on both accounts. I need to be able to have apps from both countries.

Until iOS 14, I could switch between the store Apple IDs at will without signing out of iCloud. It looks like this is no longer the case or is not longer as easy to do. I need to be able to continue to use both App Store accounts without having to log in and out of iCloud. Has someone figured out how to continue doing this? If not, how do I downgrade back to iOS 13?! :( :( :(

I just updated to the latest version of iOS 14 and found a way to restore this feature. I'm convinced it was not there before.

Settings -- Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases -- Media Purchases -- top left, next to account, there is a little blue circle with a blue figure in it. Click on that to switch stores with no hassle.
