I LOVE the Message Pin feature in iOS 14!!! However, I'm running into this issue...
I have 6 messages pinned, 2 group messages and 4 individuals. Every time I close my Messaging app and reopen it back up, one of the group messages is unpinned! It's always the same one. Sometimes when I go to add it back in, when I click "Done" it will disappear again. I reset my phone, which did not help.

Not sure how true this is but I have 12 Pro Max and it’s updated and my messages continue to be unpinned and not saved.
I have iOS 14.3 and this is happening to me now.
What gives you confidence the next update will fix it? I have none, myself!
It seems like iOS 14.4(RC) fixes the problem. It’s been two days and pinned messages work as it supposed to work 👍💪
I updated to 14.4 and it appears to have fixed the issue for me. The 2 conversations that I have always had trouble with have now stayed pinned for a couple of days. Hoping this is a permanent fix!
14.4 immediately restored the lost pin to the top again and it has not dropped since. On day two!
The 14.4 update seems to have fixed it for me as well. I updated all my devices to 14.4 and my pins stay now!
I am on iOS 14.4 as of recently with the iPhone X and my pinned messages in iMessage keep disappearing, until I restart my phone (at which point they reappear).
Well thats good to hear! While on 14.2 or 14.3 I tried a restart and my pins didn't return but hopefully now on 14.4 if it happens again a restart will get it back where it should be.
