magic keyboard not connecting wirelessly to macbook pro

Hi all,

My macbook pro 2020 is only connecting to my magic keyboard when it's plugged in and doesn't connect when not plugged in. Any ideas?

Why doesn’t my magic keyboard work wirelessly? I just bought the new Imac computer in yellow. It’s so pretty! My matching keyboard worked for the first couple weeks until I updated to the new iOS 15. Now it doesn’t recognize my keyboard unless I plug it in. After I plug it in a message pops up in the right corner saying my keyboard is now wirelessly connected. Any idea why?

I have an Apple Magic Mouse that will not connect to my MacBook Pro. I have follow all of the steps, the mouse has fresh batteries and green light comes on. Is there anything else I should do. Do you have bluetooth on (System Preferences > Bluetooth)? Did you pair the keyboard (same settings pane)?
