Two factor authentication - resetting Macbook

Hello, I have an Iphone and a Macbook Pro, connected with the two factor authentication feature.

I might have to do a "Reset to factory settings" to my Macbook, will apple recognize it as my old Macbook? Or recognize it as a "new" one? Will I have any problems with connecting the devices?

I am affraid apple will ask me to connect to my "old" Macbook, which I won't be able to access anymore.

Hardware is not connected to 2FA. Apple IDs are.

Unless you enabled Find My Mac, you should not need your Apple ID un til you try to sign in to your Apple ID..
