iTunes syncing

I have always synced my MAC library & playlists with my phone and use the music for work. Why can I suddenly not sync my music? And If so, why am I paying iTunes match?

I have changed my play list on my mac and updated my library and nothing. on my phone is still the old playlists. I have signed in and out on my mac and nothing. I have paid for more storage and nothing.

i have plugged my phone into my computer and hit sync on iTunes and nothing. what now?

See Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music - Apple Support. The steps are the same for iTunes Match as Apple Music. Make sure that Sync Library/iCloud Music Library is enabled in both iTunes (Music in Catalina) and your device. Use File > Library > Update Cloud Library to ensure recent changes are uploaded. See Identify cloud status icons in your music library on your Mac or PC - Apple Support to check for errors. You might need to reboot the phone if it seems to be be stuck.


Note additional iCloud Storage capacity is used for documents and data, not media storage.
