TfL overcharge

I’m sure that my  Pay has been overcharged by TfL and I assume that that’s because it detected incomplete journeys even though I tapped in and out with my iPhone. I am not able to contest TfL about it because I don’t have access to my device account number (DAN). Has anyone had similar problem? Is there a way for me to get a refund?
