My IPad won’t update to iOS 14.0. What can we do? It says model A2197.

That is an iPad 7 and should run iPadOS 14. Hav you tried connecting the iPad to a computer running iTunes and doing the upgrade that way. In my updating, I have found the "connect to iTunes" method much more reliable than doing it "over the air."
