My watch is showing the number 16 And it looks like bubbles that make the 16 and go around the 16 anybody know what this is?

Why Apple Watch since the update is showing a number 16 and it’s made by what looks like bubbles. The number looks like that and then a circle around the 16 3/4 of the way are in the form of bubbles. And also gives a notification sound. Does anybody know what that is? Thank you for any answers.

That is the hand washing feature, a new feature introduced in iOS 14. It is activated when the sound recognition recognizes a sound of hand washing.

Sounds like your watch froze on the hand washing screen. That is what the countdown looks like. Try a hard restart by holding the crown button and the side button down at the same time until the apple logo comes up. Good luck
