Apple Watch battery performance with recent iOS update

Has anyone else noticed a significant change (negatively) to the Apple Watch battery performance after installing the iOS? Seems the battery drains much faster over a shorter period of time. I’ve tried the suggestions to preserve battery power but nothing seems to work. Hope a new release will fix things. A bit disappointed. I have a series 4 and all was working smoothly until the recent iOS update.
