iMovie exports everything as Mp4/AAC at all settings except Best Quality (pro res). Best Quality (pro res) would give you a .mov file, although 4x larger size than the Mp4 file.
Export your project as Mp4/AAC. That format is pretty much globally compatible with all devices. If your PC video player app doesn't play it, then you can use the free download, Handbrake, to convert it to whatever format is required.

Ah. You can use ExFat or FAT 32. As you probably know, FAT 32 has a 4 GB file size limitation.

Thanks for the reply. It was mostly because I formatted the jumpdrive os journaled.
Thank for all the reply’s. I found out that the jump drive i was exporting to was not formatted correctly. It was “os journaled” instead of “exfat”.
