Checked Activity Login on Instagram

Hello,

My instagram was recently hacked so I deleted it. I created a new one and when I go to look at previous login activity/location, its saying my Iphone is in VA when I am actually in NJ. Also, I logged into my instagram from a computer and I looked at the login info again, and it says the right location.

Is it possible someone else is mirroring my phone? When I also sign onto my apple ID, it says my iphone is in VA, which is incorrect.

If anyone has any experience with this, please let me know ASAP.

I just want to make sure my iphone is not hacked.

The location activity could be due to the server being used by your iPhone. The location is estimated from your internet IP address. That being said, if you have concerns, you can use this link to help you verify where your Apple ID is being used. You can also sign out if necessary:

As for the security of your actual iPhone, one of the best ways to ensure it’s secure is to update to the latest iOS:
