Have a virus/spyware on my iPhone 11. Would erasing the phone the best option? I really don't have time to search for hidden icons

I found evidence of deleted videos that were not on my iPhone in the camera roll. Plus some type of a movie roll with memories of my former ex. Also, a google maps GPS notification to Calle D in PR. I did not set up that destination, and never been there.

I tried not to open any texts or emails but somehow they got thru

iPhone 11, iOS 13

That is patently incorrect and you clearly don't know what you are talking about but I don't really have time to mess with your delusions. Put your iPhone in DFU mode (use DuckDuckGo search engine to find out how to do it) then connect your iPhone to your computer and set it up as a new device (not from your backup) and then you will have a pristine device. Then turn the phone off and never use it again.

That is 100% rubbish. A non-jailbroken phone is virtually invulnerable. What's far more likely is someone has hacked into your Apple ID account, using the same email and password you do. From there, they can do anything to the account you could.

Go to icloud.com and login to your account. Do you see any devices listed you don't recognize? If so, change the password to something difficult, then remove those unknown devices. They'll have to log back in, except they won't be able to since they will no longer know the password.

I don't use Google because they collect information on your searches. But I didn't just use DuckDuckGo to ask about aliens living among us and when they got here and found lots of entries. Androids have a user accessible file management system and don't use sandboxing so they have always been susceptible to malware/spyware/viruses. iOS is sandboxed, you done't have a user accessible file management system and have security built into the core of the OS. If you are hacking "him" (I don't know who that is and don't think I want to) you are breaking the law. And you have published that fact on a public web site.
