macbook pro with usb-c charging is not working at all!

my macbook pro usb-c charging stopped working completely. the problem is not because of the adapter as i have 3 different adapters and all have been working perfectly and have been verified again with my other macybook pro usb-c laptop (i have two). plugging and unplugging the power adapter doesn't help either. one thing to note is that what i noticed was my laptop's batter kept indicating smaller and smaller power percentage though it was still showing the 'charging' status you see when things are fine. it sounds to me that the battery was draining any not accepting to charge (i.e. it was not charging slower than the rate it was consuming power; rather, it was not charging at all!). Now that it's completely out of power, it is not getting any charging at all no matter how long i keep it plugged (no matter what charger I use and which usb-c port i plug into).

I have never had any battery issues prior to that and there have not been anything unusual recently (laptop did not fall or anything like that and I have not installed any new software or upgrade etc or got any warning messages about something i needed to do). I have been using the latest catalina further more.

please help!

If you have it plugged in and it's not charging, does the computer work till it becomes unplugged? If it doesn't then there is probably something wrong with the USB-C port on the computer and it's not accepting charge. If it does, then there is most likely something wrong with the battery and it's just not taking a charge. Either way, your best bet is to take the computer to an Apple Genius Bar at an Apple Store and let them take a look at it. They will be able to diagnose it better by taking a look at it and give you options on what to do to fix it.
