I have sent emails on my ipad but these are not showing up on my iphone or on the server. I have looked on the Apple Community and it advises to select ‘on the server’ for sent emails in the Advanced section of settings however, this is not showing as an option. When I go into settings it only gives the option to store sent items on my ipad. Why is this and how can I resolve this issue?
Are the email accounts on all your devices configured to use IMAP - or POP3? If you are not using IMAP, this may explain why your sent/received email is not synchronising with your devices and/or server.
The inbox syncs but Sent does not
Yes, they are all IMAP
As my first post advises, the Advanced tab only shows Inbox in the ‘On the Server” section. As I said, I already checked the Community & found this advice and I cannot do that as it does not list the ‘Sent’ in the “On the Server’ option. This is of no help.
I have identified what the problem is. I am using the MS Outlook App for my mail which obviously doesn’t sync with the default Mail App on iphone. Not very helpful as MS Outlook is my default mail app on my laptop which operate Windows.
