i couldnt post in the last "topsites gone" thread, its locked:
so, my topsites are gone since safari14, nobody noticed that, or its just a bug for some users?
i tried the solution in the locked thread, but i dont have a com.safari.plist in my library/preferences
maybe its a naming mistake, the word "startpage" is now the thing formerly known as "topsite" ?
my startpage doesnt show topsites, only a blank white page.

What a mess, Apple is really going down the pan: so topsides has gone in the last update but you left the topsides option on the safari +sign sound like a mistake to me a big one. I will be moving browser and possibly product its not good to mess people about like this with out the manners to notify people so they can make change, (example do you actually know you brothers phone number ? No is the answer most would say because its stored on my phone. Same as millions of peoples Topsites (Thanks Apple)not
Top Sites has been removed. Not a bug.
Whenever change happens, someone will be unhappy. That’s how software becomes bloated and unusable, by keeping every feature, function, location forever. I myself chose long ago to adapt rather than rage at change. If you don’t want change then don’t update. Keep it how it came out of the box.
ok i accept this - its a pitty, but i built my own topsites widget with safari 14. even better now than topsites!
