Transfer an Apple ID account to another person

My father stopped using his Apple devices and now I use his Apple ID and I want to change the name and birth date to my own. I don't want to create a new account because I want to maintain the purchases.

The problem is that I am concerned that some security system triggers because when my father created the account I still was under age and I have heard of some problems in other services (not related to apple) that does this kind of security checks when doing this kind of changes to an account. Now I am a couple of years past 18 and want the account to be "fully mine" as I'm the only one that uses it.

Will I have any problem if change the name and birth date of the account?
