I have trouble opening my control centre in any app.

So I recently updated my iPhone X to ios 14. Without a point of doubt, I am loving this update. My issue started when it came into my notice that I was having trouble opening control centre in any kind of app for instance Safari. Whenever I am on home screen it seems to work totally fine but when I am in an app for example safari and I swipe down from the top right it opens the notifications panel and then on another swipe down it shows my Control Centre. As previously, just on one swipe down, I could easily access my control centre.

I don't happen to know the reason behind it or is it some kind of bug in the latest update. I also updated it to the latest 14.0.1 just today and that didn't solve my problem

either.

I would really appreciate some help from the experts.
