Upside down exclamation point not working

I was trying to type an upside down exclamation point using Shift, alt option, and 1, but it always turns into "⁄".

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15

Calculator automatically clear every time I type a number on my numeric pad I`m using external non-apple keyboard. Try just option 1.
