my siblings iPhone 7 which is the same iOS as me has the nfc reader available to add in the control centre, however I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and I can’t seem to add it, is this a bug with the software update? Thanks for any responses in advance

There is no NFC in control center as I understand (for iPhone XS and up in iOS 14) but my iPhone does not read the tags automatically as suggested here. It just does not do anything when I tap the tag. When I use some third party app it works. So this is disappointing. They took it away in control center saying it is always on, but it does not work (it does not seem to be enabled for me - XS MAX iOS 14)
Yes that is the same for me, I think when I originally made this post it was when there was a new software update so it has definitely been fixed. Thanks for adding to this thread.
