Can't upload Catalina with my Macbook Air Early 2014, OS X Version 10.9.5. It stops when it reaches Install , so installation doesn't continue.

Catalina OS not downloading and installing Hi there, Trying to update my work Mac from High Sierra 10.13.6 to Catalina 10.15 (after COVID lockdown) via the App Store, and it seems to start to download but after a few minutes it stops and doesn't progress any further. My network connection is through ethernet and not WiFi so connection wise it is fine. The installer file doesn't even start or carry on what it usually does. Mac model: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017) Any ideas?

Cannot download Catalina for my Macbook Air I am trying to download Catalina for my Macbook Air (mid-2013) but cannot. Literally cannot find it in the App Store and nowhere available. I need this to transfer all data (automatically) from this computer to my new MacBook Air 2020. Any tips?

You must first upgrade to El Capitan, 10.11.x, before you can upgrade to Catalina. See How to upgrade to macOS Catalina.
