Face ID set up issues. iPhone 11 Pro

Hi! I just joined the Apple world again as of 4 days ago. (So happy, but Face ID isn’t working...)


Alright, so my question is how do I set up Face ID if it keep giving me “Face ID is Not Available. Try again later.” It’s been 3 days now since I’ve had the phone (brand new I might add) and it’s been giving me problems. Tried the Face ID on my Husbands face and it just kept saying move Phone higher/lower prompts. I have restarted the phone and reset the settings the day before yesterday, and it is still giving me that it isn’t available.


Any help is appreciated, thank you!

It sounds like you are having issues getting Face ID to work on your iPhone 11 Pro.


If you attempted to register your husband's face while setting up Face ID on your device, then you should reset your Face ID. Most people hold the iPhone too close to their face when attempting this for the first time. Hold it out at arm's length, like you are going to take a selfie, to make sure your entire face is inside the white frame that appears.
