'Unable to load video" error message ever since IOS 14 update

Of course spellcheck screwed that up for me also. It should’ve said I hope Steve Jobs was cryogenically frozen.... Thus $1400 Phone is basically useless since the upgrade.

I have almost 600 videos and practically ALL of them have this error! I shouldn’t have to spend a ton of time using a workaround for all of these. Apple please find a fix soon. This is unacceptable!!

I found the workaround.

Simply toggle favourite video on and off and immediately video is able to load.

on ios 14.2 and this bug still exist! But at least there is a workaround

Have exact same issue. After editing video (if by some luck it didn't get stuck on preparing video).

It’s good that those in-camera steps worked for you. And thanks for your help here. But those of us who can’t play older videos (shot some time ago) are unable to fix the problem that way.
