Image Capture: error 9937

I have a solution.

And it works fine.

This error is due to videos (no matter size of file) High Deifinition setting which turns automatically in iPhone after SW update.

Follow these steps:

  • Settings, Camera, Formats... chose 'Most Compatible'
  • Re-start iPhone.
  • Open the video you could not transfer to your Mac (either using Image Capture or Photos, because same error happens in both programs).
  • When video plays on iPhone chose 'Edit' then cut last or beginning of the vide 1 second and hit 'finish'. iPhone will ask you if you wish to save it as save or new clip, chose 'save'. (If you chose 'save as new clip' you will see the new recording by letter 'E' added to beginning of same file name which you just eddited... but this file will not open in QuickTime Player due to codec problems).
  • Give it at least 1 minute before going to file transfer (I do not know why but it seems program may be doing something in background)
  • Now you can transfer the video to your computer without a problem.

Enjoy.
