Separating Calls on Devices

I have had an iPhone for years. I got a phone number and an iPhone7 to use for work. When I set up my new phone, it linked to my existing iPhone and iPad. So now now matter which phone number is receiving a call, both phones ring. How do I separate them?

iPhone 7, iOS 13

On both phones go to Settings > Phone > Calls on other devices and turn that off
