Why it shows ? In the serial number? How to solve this issue

yes, I guess there's no solution because the replacement units have different serial numbers. Additionally I can't upgrade them and I have no spatial audio feature. It's a mess.

Try connecting airpods to other iphone and use for some time, it will get updated. My airpods got updated when I connected to other iphone for 10-15 minutes.
