Mac update appears to have broken screen zoom

10.14.6 Sept 24, 2020 update appears to have broken the screen zoom accessibility feature on my 2015 MBAir. Looking for a fix as I use this daily.

No keys will zoom and ^+scroll no longer zooms the screen in, either. Have zapped PRAM and rebooted to no avail. Checked permissions and all seems fine.

Suggestions appreciated.

I spent a couple hours on the phone today with Apple Accessibility Support staff. We tried tons of things but ended up booting to recovery partition (shift+R on boot) and reinstalling Mojave. Took about an hour.

I had a similar experience.

I installed the update and immediately my 21.5" (late 2013) iMac became unusable (beach balling on every mouse click; my Time Machine backup disk showed NO backups had been made; EtreCheck showed MAJOR issues; etc., etc.)

I spent several hours running Apple H/W diagnostics, booted into Recovery Mode and ran Disk Utility on both my Macintosh HD and Time Machine backup disks;. No H/W errors or disk errors were reported.

I then used Recovery Mode to reinstall my last Time Machine backup image just before I installed the last Security Update, and now everything is operating normally again.

I have NO third party S/W installed on my iMac -- I have no idea why this particular update "bricked" my system.

Experiencing same issues here. Using 2016 MBP running 10.14.6.

Screen zoom accessibility feature has completely stopped since installing Sept 24, 20202 security update. I'm a teacher so I use this frequently to keep classroom on task. Tried resetting PRAM and toggling all accessibility features with no luck.

This is the only thing online I'm able to find addressing this issue (everything else is about Zoom app) - any help is greatly appreciated.
