iOS 14 update inline text reply not working

I have an iPhone X, inline text reply isn’t working after iOS 14 update. Everything is seems to work fine. Anyone else?

I think it only works with group chats where everyone is using iMessage.

In my family chat we all use it and the feature is there when I force press on a message.

In a work group that is an apple/ android mix, the feature is not visible.
