Cannot sign in to Apple TV on my Tcl/roku tv

I keep getting a verification failed, either sign in to this tv or on mobile device.

Apple TV on Roku Devices I have tried on 2 different Roku Premier devices and on both i get errors when trying to log in, it's not the 2 form factor authentication, says verification failed and try again later. Any idea's as to the problem, other than it's just Apple being Apple. Why have the app available for download on Roku if the bloody thing doesn't work.

It sounds like you’re unable to sign in to the Apple TV+ app on your smart tv, and we're happy to help. You can try installing all available software updates on your tv.
