My iPhone cannot connect with the WiFi since the update IOS 14.1.. What can I do?

Tried Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
and removed the wifi network on the phone.
Same problem when I try to connect to the hotspot on my Ipad.
WIfi on the ipad Pro with ios 14.0.1 is working fine.
Go into Settings/Cellular. Scroll aaaaaalll the way down to the bottom and turn off Wi-Fi Assist. Fixed it on our iPhones.

I had the same issue, but I read here somewhere to disable the wifi Assist on your mobile data. this seems to have worked. I am now connected an all devices for almost 2 hours.

This worked for me, I hope it works for you. Go to Settings > WiFi and turn off Ask to Join Networks

after updating the software to 14.0.1 it creates network issues like weak security etc
I have the same issues too. I tried reset and erase all data but no luck.
Since 14.0.1, intermittent WiFi. Tried troubleshooting ie. turning WiFi off, then back on which works intermittently. Tell me how to fix this.

Thanks mikael73. Resolved in the same way (full reset of the iPhone WITHOUT using a backup)!
But it is a barbaric and laborious way. Everything has to be reinstalled all over again! Unacceptable!

Riiight? After this last update my xs max is like only two bars, connects to WiFi barely but if I have the phone plugged into a charger no internet or data.

It would be interesting to know if roxxx71 has NOT effectively used its backup...
Oh, I missed this. @roxxx71 —did you restore your device using your backup? If not, have you followed this up by calling Apple Care?
As I was new phone I did full reset and started from scratch with a new Apple ID but as I said still having WiFi connection issues eg low connection speeds and dropping out between WiFi and 4g
