Tried Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
and removed the wifi network on the phone.
Same problem when I try to connect to the hotspot on my Ipad.
WIfi on the ipad Pro with ios 14.0.1 is working fine.
In that case you can’t rule out that it could be hardware malfunction. I’d contact Apple for diagnostics... Maybe you’re eligible for replacing your device?
Having the same problem. Will connect to wifi, phone sits idle for a moment, and wifi is disconnected. Have tried suggested repairs.
wtf is up Apple? Maybe it’s time to migrate to android
I don't see WHY I would need to modify my router's settings for another stupid mistake from Apple !!... I am expecting a bug correction ASAP.
I think it is related to the new feature of iOS 14 of private wi-fi MAC address
My iphone cannot connect with the wifi since the update 14.1what can I do
This is indeed the topic here :)
@lanstrad1 The Mac filter “could be” on the AP web gui if you have access to manage that.
FYI, I am not an Apple Employee just offering my insights as to where problems may have been introduced.
Deleting a VPN configuration worked for me (after all else failed).
go to settings/privacy/local network and uncheck All!!!
go to router settings and delete any DNS addresses to blank
I have tried all other listed solutions nothing worked just the above. Good luck!
Has anyone tried to reset their entire phone and it work..?
Yes. That was the only thing that helped for me (see my entry above starting with “SOLVED”).
Oh ! Even nicer ! ....
For some reason, this worked wonders! Wifi is stable
Hi, I had the same issue since my iPhone XS was on iOS 14.0.1.
I deleted the VPN app (Express VPN) and since then the wifi works fine again.
Thanks!!!!
Yeah! Even for me, same stress and same times! If well done, the "Hard reset" operation is really laborious and endless.
But it's true that it's also an opportunity for a nice cleaning...
